Editor/Author Biographies
Barry Thatcher is an Associate Professor of Rhetoric and Professional Communication at New Mexico State University and "Profesor Asociado" at El Colegio de Chihuahua, Ciudad Juarez, Mexico. He is Founder and Editor-in-Chief of The Journal of Rhetoric, Professional Communication, and Globalization and Co-Editor of La Revista Latinoamericana de Retorica. He has published widely on the area of intercultural professional communication and rhetoric, rhetoric in Latin America, border literacy, and research methods. He has worked in a large variety of cross-border and globalization projects, including health, transportation, security, technology transfer, and education.
