Abstract

Blockchain technology has emerged as a transformative force in supply chain management, offering unparalleled transparency, security, and efficiency. This paper explores the application of blockchain in supply chains from 2019 to 2024, analyzing trends, challenges, and opportunities. Through a mixed-method approach integrating bibliometric analysis and qualitative methods, we examine the evolution of blockchain integration, key thematic clusters, and the impact on supply chain performance. Our findings reveal increasing interest and adoption of blockchain across diverse industries, with notable benefits in traceability, trust, and resilience. We highlight the significance of blockchain-based smart contracts, Hyperledger Fabric, and industry-specific implementations. This research contributes to understanding the development and implications of blockchain technology in enhancing supply chain management practices, paving the way for future innovations and collaborations in this dynamic domain.
