The Development of Sustainable Procurement: A Bibliometric Study

Abstract

The purpose of this writing is to provide a brief bibliometric overview of previous literature reviews in understanding the implementation of the development of sustainable procurement management. In recent years, the topic of development of sustainable procurement management has become important and attracted the attention of academics and practitioners in various sectors. The method used is a structured literature review with a sample of 156 articles from 2013-2023 using keywords “sustainable procurement,” “procurement management,” and “e-procurement.” The authors used Publish or Perish and Vosviewer to identify journals, authors, citations, keywords, and hierarchical word maps. This bibliometric review is beneficial for researchers and practitioners in the field, particularly related to the development of sustainable procurement management.
