***|Tashieka Burris-Melville - Editor |Tashieka S. Burris-Melville is a lecturer in the Faculty of Education and Liberal Studies at the University of Technology, Jamaica. She currently serves as programme leader for the M.Ed. and Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Management in the faculty. She holds a Doctor of Education specializing in Leadership and Professional Practice from Trevecca Nazarene University and a Master of Arts in Linguistics from the University of the West Indies, Mona. Dr. Burris-Melville has taught courses in academic writing, linguistics, and leadership at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Her research interests include sociolinguistics, applied linguistics, writing in higher education, teamwork development, collaborative and inclusive leadership, transformational leadership, and online teaching and learning.
***|Shalieka Burris - Editor| Shalieka T. Burris , a seasoned practitioner in higher education, is a lecturer in the Faculty of Education and Liberal Studies at the University of Technology, Jamaica. Boasting nearly a decade of experience shaping minds in academic institutions, her pedagogical journey began with a rigorous teaching diploma from the esteemed Shortwood Teachers' College in Kingston. Further enriching her expertise, Ms. Burris pursued and attained her bachelor's and master's degrees in linguistics at the renowned University of the West Indies, Mona. Currently, she is pursuing doctoral knowledge in Leadership and Organizational Intelligence at Trevecca Nazarene University, Nashville. Ms. Burris's scholarly contributions extend beyond the classroom, evidenced by her peer-reviewed publications on themes of collaborative learning and academic writing. Her research pursuits encapsulate adult education, emotional intelligence, team dynamics, followership, leadership, academic literacy, online pedagogy, and applied linguistics.
Kristin S. Bledsoe is a leadership educator currently serving as an Academic Dean for the School of Leadership and Interdisciplinary Studies at Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, Tennessee. She is also an associate professor, teaching in multiple programs from associate to doctorate level, with a strong understanding of online learning, teaching, and engagement. Kristin is committed to enhancing the student experience and overall student success. She recently co-authored and published an article on Mentoring New Online Graduate Teaching Assistants in Taylor & Francis' Online Journal. Kristin's most recent certifications have been as an Emotional Intelligence Practitioner and Cognitive Behavioral Life Coach. She recently graduated from the Tennessee Independent Colleges and Universities Association's (TICUA) Executive Leadership Institute
