Editor/Author Biographies
Lan Sun holds a Ph.D. from Curtin University and Master of Applied Finance and MBA from the University of Newcastle, Australia. She is a Member of CPA Australia and Member of Accounting and Finance Association of Australia and New Zealand. She has above twenty years teaching experience across universities, currently she works in Central Queensland University, and previously she was a Senior Lecturer in University of New England, also worked in the University of Newcastle, Curtin University, and New York University (NYU) Sydney Campus. Her teaching focuses on undergraduate and postgraduate finance, business finance, corporate finance, international finance, accounting and financial management, financial accounting, international accounting and auditing. Her research interests cover asset pricing, market efficiency, fair value, financial reporting quality, earnings management, corporate governance, executive compensation, sustainable finance and investing, financial wellbeing etc. Dr Sun has a track record of over 50 publications including journal articles, book and book chapters, and conference proceedings. She has published high quality research papers in Scopus indexed and SCImago Q1 ranked journals including Journal of Sustainable Finance and Investment, International Journal of Accounting and Information Management, Sustainability, Asian Review of Accounting, Pacific Accounting Review, Australasian Accounting Business and Finance Journal, etc.
